They feature an exceptional diversity from coral to fish species it is a home to many other animals such as turtles and whales. New Caledonia is located off the west coast of Australia as a part of the barrier reef. It is ruled by France and has been for over 150 years. For these reasons, it is a world heritage site. 
The lagoons of New Caledonia are quite a site to see. Everyone should have the opportunity to experience the wonderful islands and lagoons. To do this we all need to bond together and stop pollution, global warming & littering. We can also reduce our carbon footprint, reduce power and water usage. But the main saver would be to stop oiling around the area of the lagoons.
